Now that we have seen what Honda has to offer on the Honda Civic sedan model and the Honda Civic Coupe, we can’t wait to see what they have to offer on the Honda Civic SI model.
It was initially believed that Honda will be showing off their Honda Civic SI model before 2015 ends, but it looks like that might not be happening as there is still no news on when the Honda Civic SI will be arriving.
There were reports suggesting that Honda will be fitting the Honda Civic SI with a 1.5-liter turbo engine that will be tuned to deliver about 200hp at the end of the day. Some fans have already commented that the Honda Civic SI would end up nowhere if they go with the 1.5 liter turbo engine and that it would be a mistake by Honda as many believe that the 1.5 liter turbo engine does not have what it takes to take on models like the Focus ST, VW GTI and Subaru WRX.
There were talks that Honda might offer the 2.0 liters turbocharged inline four Type R engine as well, but we hope not.
