Ford Asia Pacific has confirmed that a new Ford Ranger is in the makings and the vehicle will make its debut in 2016. The announcement was made yesterday and it came together with a teaser video clip of the upcoming Ranger.
After viewing the video, we noticed that the next-generation Ranger shares a lot of similarities with the already released Ford Everest. They are so identical to each other that the Ranger can be described as the pickup truck version of the SUV.
In detail, the Ford Ranger shown on the teaser clip features a larger grille, a more angular headlamps, a restyled front bumper with new fog lights and more creases on the engine hood. On the downside of things, the video failed to show off the rear portion of the pickup truck.
The Ford Ranger is among the bestselling vehicles over at Asia Pacific and there is no doubt that the fans will be enticed by the upcoming refresh. Details are still scarce at the moment but fans can expect Ford to shed more light on the Ranger throughout next year.
