Later this year, Ford Asia Pacific will be launching the next-generation Ford Ranger and the vehicle will be looking to dominate the pickup truck segment in the region. Ford has already launched a teaser video of the upcoming Ranger and it does show how the vehicle will be made to appear like.
To our surprise, the Ford Ranger looks a lot like the latest Ford Atlas. The vehicle features the same larger grille, a restyled front bumper with new fog lights and more creases on the engine hood. It is as if the Ranger and the Atlas are two of the same vehicle that is built for different regions.
There may be some differences between the Ranger and the Atlas but they are perhaps too subtle for us to notice. This will have to wait until the next-gen Ranger gets fully unveiled by Ford before we can go into detail with the pickup truck.
