2016 Ford Ranger Unveiled: A Twin To The Atlas?

The Ford Ranger has already been confirmed to get refreshed with a brand new model and it is due to arrive next year. This was announced by Ford Asia Pacific last week and the firm also launched a teaser trailer of the upcoming pickup truck too.

For those that have viewed the trailer, they must agree when we say that the next-gen Ranger looks a lot like the Ford Atlas. Both pickup trucks feature a large grille, redesigned fog lights and also a bold stance.

Unfortunately, not much can be discussed on the upcoming Ford Ranger since the teaser video failed to highlight on the vehicle’s interior and tail section.

Nevertheless, pickup truck fans in the Asia Pacific region can look forward to seeing the new Ranger running on the 3.2L 5-cylinder turbodiesel engine that develops 197hp and 470Nm of torque, just like the Ford Atlas.
