Later this year, Ford will be fully unveiling the next-gen Ranger and it is expected to get released mid-next year in the Asia Pacific region. Ford has also launched the teaser video for the future Ranger to tease on how the pickup truck is designed like.
For those that have watched the short clip, they will agree with us when we say that the next-gen Ranger looks identical to the Atlas. The pickup truck features a larger grille, restyled front bumper, new fog lights and also more creases on the engine hood.
It is as if Ford has utilized the exact same blueprint used by the Atlas for the upcoming Ranger. Perhaps, the Ranger is meant to be the Atlas but renamed for a different market. After all, Ford won’t be releasing the Ranger here in the US.
On the downside of things, the teaser video failed to highlight on the Ranger’s tail section so there is still a chance for the pickup truck to come out with something a little bit different and distinguishable from the Atlas. Of course, this will have to wait until the Ranger gets fully unveiled.
