In a matter of weeks from now, Ford will be fully unveiling the next-gen Mustang GT350 but fans of the sports sedan don’t have to wait until then to learn more about the vehicle.
Today, fans can already understand on how powerful the GT350 is going to be after Ford revealed on the power that will be generated by the car.
Ford started off by sharing that the Mustang GT350 will be powered by a flat-plane V8 engine that is engineered and manufactured in the USA. The motor can generate a whopping 562hp at 7,500rpm and 429ft-lbs of torque at 4,750rpm.
The ponies will be pumped through the newly developed Tremec TR-3160 6-speed manual transmission and this will ensure a smooth and exhilarating performance with the Mustang GT350.
This comes to the relief of the Mustang fans as they were beginning to worry that the GT350 is going to come with a turbocharger and typical European offerings, just like the upcoming Focus RS.
