2016 Ford Focus RS: When Rumours Trash Talk

The RS badge will look to make a return next year and it will be on the Ford Focus. This upcoming hatch is going to better the Focus ST in every way and this is evident when Ford confirmed that the vehicle will be powered by a 2.3L EcoBoost engine which generates 350hp.

While this may sound exciting, the rumours are indicting that the Focus RS won’t get released here in the US. This is due to the availability of the Lincoln MKC and the Mustang that sees no need for an additional performance vehicle.

Then again, this is unlikely to happen. The fact that Ford has been behaving aggressively in recent times will definitely see them releasing the Focus RS here in the US. Besides, this is the Focus RS we are talking about. The hatchback is one of the most popular cars in the world and claiming it to not get released is simply trash talking.

With that being said, Focus fans can look forward to seeing the Focus RS getting released in the US next year. Fans can also expect more confirmation from Ford on this matter in the coming months.
