Ford will be reintroducing the RS badge and this time, it will be coming to the latest generation of Focus. The Focus RS is said to make its debut next year and it will be powered by the newly-developed 2.3L EcoBoost engine with a whopping 350hp to offer.
While it all sounds exciting, it is unfortunate that the rumours are indicating that the Focus RS won’t be making its debut here in the US. This is because Ford already have the Lincoln MKC and the Mustang for its performance vehicles and there is no need for the Focus RS to join the pack.
Well, considering the fact that the Focus is a highly popular car on the global scale, we feel that the rumours are wrong entirely. The Focus RS has never missed out a debut in the US and it don’t look like changing at all.
No matter if it is good or bad for business, Ford will remain patriotic and true to its practice thus, the world including the US will be able to get their hands on the Focus RS. All that is left is for Ford to make the confirmation accordingly.
