Later this year, Ford will be launching the next-gen Focus RS. The exciting thing is that this is going to be the first time the Ford Focus RS gets released here in the US. However, this does not mean that the Focus RS will be developed at home.
Ford might be an American company but the Focus RS is produced in their European facility situated at Saarlouis, Germany. This goes to say that the Focus RS is going to be an imported car and engineered by Germans.
However, it is not bad news for the Focus fans since the Germans have countlessly proved that they are cerebral in the automotive world. To make things sweeter, the Focus RS will come with all the European safety standards and this can only mean well for us Americans.
