Ford became the centre of attention at the last New York Auto Show after the carmaker reiterated that the next-gen Focus RS will be making its debut here in the US. This basically tosses the rumours that suggested otherwise in the bin.
Ford revealed that there is no way for the next-gen Focus RS to miss out on a home release no matter how bad the business prospect is. Yes, Ford might have the EcoBoost-powered Lincoln MKC and the Mustang in their hands but that does not limit the Focus RS from making its debut here in the US.
Besides, the Focus badge is one of the best exports from America and it is also considered as an iconic car in the automotive industry. Clearly, America deserves to have the Focus RS if not for sale, then as a symbol of power.
