Ford has finally launched the all-new Everest over in Asia Pacific but unfortunately, it has failed to capture the attention of the consumers in the region. Well, we don’t blame the car but will point our finger at the marketing team instead.
This is because the Everest is simply sublime with its offering and the SUV is competitively priced. Retailing from 1.268million Baht in Thailand, the vehicle is actually in the same price bracket with the Hyundai Santa Fe and the Nissan Murano.
The Everest comes with a petrol engine and two diesel engines for consumers to choose from. In detail, the diesel motors are identified to be the 2.2L 4-cylinder and the 3.2L 5-cylinder motors. Regardless of the choice made, the engine will be paired to a standard 6-speed automatic transmission.
The special thing about the latest Ford Everest is that it is equipped with tons of technologies as a standard. Among them includes the Terrain Management System, powered third row seats, projector headlight, 9-speaker audio system and the latest SYNC2 infotainment system.
Of course, there are plenty more with the latest Ford Everest than a buffed, muscular design and technologies. Asia Pacific car junkies should give the Everest a chance through test driving it. That way, they will experience the sheer awesomeness that comes with the SUV.
