Pickup truck fans here in America must have heard that the Ford Bronco will look to make a return in 2016. The rumours have been loud in announcing the revival of the once great truck, which was discontinued at the start of the second millennium.
The catch is that the Bronco will be coming with a different name. Most rumours suggest that it will be called the Ford Troller, based on the same pickup truck that was released in South America earlier this year. The Ford Troller shared a lot of similarities with the old Bronco and now, it is being developed for the local US market.
Of course, the upcoming Troller won’t be identical to the ones in South America. Rumours claim that it will be developed by Ford’s SVT and it will be a magnitude better than the original Troller. Also, the pickup truck is going to feature the same characteristics as the Bronco.
When it comes to power, the next-gen Bronco is said to run on a 4L engine. On the other hand, Ford will also offer the 3.5L EcoBoost engine for the pickup truck.
While it all sounds exciting, the Ford Bronco’s revival is still based on rumours so it is best to take it with a pinch of salt. The American carmaker has yet to announce anything involving the Bronco, thus, making the rumours all the more uncertain.
