We have heard that the SRT Charger Hellcat and the 2016 Dodge Challenger will both be getting a brand new turbocharged engine. Right now these two vehicles offer up the V8 6.2 litre HEMI engine that gives out 707 horses along with 880 Nm of torque.
The engine is the V8 naturally aspirated with 6.4 litres and it will offer 485 horses and it will comes with either the 4 cylinder twin-turbo or 6 cylinder twin-turbo on the 2016 Dodge Challenger and SRT Charger Hellcat.
Of course the SRT Charger Hellcat and the 2016 Dodge Challenger are not going to offer the turbocharged engines anytime soon. It is thought that we will have to wait until 2019 for them to arrive on the market.
When the 2016 Dodge Challenger and the SRT Charger Hellcat does get turbocharged both of the vehicles will offer fuel efficiency that is better as they are going to be more efficient.
