Chevy has come out with the new advertisement for its 2016 Chevy Volt called Elevator, which compares how it feels like driving with an all-electric car with getting stuck in an elevator. How is the comparison valid? In the ad, it mentions that your Nissan Leaf might run out of electricity, and that is as worse as being trapped between floors.
That’s not the only ad for the 2016 Chevy Volt. The other, entitled Time Capsule, takes a critical remark on the Toyota Prius. The question arises asking that if GM does not like to use old technology, why they continue using a century old fossil fuel engine into almost every car.
2016 is a wonderful car and they can come out with a good Chevy Volt ad to attract the possible customers and also critiques, but looking at how the company uses solid fuel-efficient technologies all over again is just heart-breaking as people want to see GM to take the EV seriously.
So the ads have been put online for viewing, it is time for the viewers to make their own judgment whether the ads are up to no good or otherwise. It may be just their own of conveying their message, but it does not mean that people like what they see.
