The next-gen Chevrolet Volt might still be a month or two away from making its full debut but that does not mean you have to wait until then to order the hybrid. As a matter of fact, the Chevrolet Volt is already available for pre-order.
However, you can only make your order for the next-gen Chevrolet Volt if you are residing in California. This was confirmed by a dealer data that came from an industry insider. The confirmation was also supported by General Motors.
For those outside of California, it is said that pre-orders will only be made available in the coming months. States like Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island and Vermont will get the pre-order option on August 27 this year.
As for the rest of America, they will be able to make their pre-orders on October 1 onwards. The pre-order date may vary across the states but this won’t be the case for the release date.
