The ongoing New York Auto Show has already seen many new vehicles from various makes getting unveiled and among them is the next-gen Chevrolet Spark. Being the smallest hatchback at the event, we were actually surprised at seeing the Spark stealing the spotlight at the motoring event.
Chevrolet revealed that the new Spark will come with a simpler design and tons of feature upgrades from the existing model. Among them is the new 1.4L 4-cylinder engine that replaces the old 1.2L. With it, the Spark is able to generate a decent 98hp while also returning 40mpg.
The size of the Spark too has been tweaked to be longer in length and shorter in height than before. This aids in freeing up more legroom inside the cabin thus making it more comfortable for the driver and passenger.
Other features found on the next-gen Spark includes Chevy’s latest seven-inch MyLink system, physical volume control, a rearview camera, and a LCD instrument cluster. The next-gen Chevrole Spark will be making its debut somewhere in Q4 this year and it is going to be as successful as its predecessor.
