In case you are unaware, Chevrolet has just made a huge announcement and it involves the next-gen Malibu that is due to arrive later this year. Chevy said that they are going to equip the Malibu with Teen Driver Mode.
The system basically offers parents to set up a speed limit for the Malibu and this is ideal if their teenage children are the ones driving the car. With the system, the teenagers can’t exceed the speed limit and any attempt to do so will trigger an alarm.
Of course, the icing on the cake with the feature is that parents will be notified of how fast their child is driving the Malibu and if there is any near misses occurred throughout their drive.
With the Teen Driver Mode feature intact, parents will not have to worry one bit whenever their child goes out at night. For the teenagers that have received their driver’s license however, the feature is going to be a nightmare.
