With all the fuss about the new design and how aerodynamic it is and all, you would think that the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS will be a lot faster than the 2015 Chevrolet Camaro SS model but that is not the case.
The people over at Hot Rod magazine took the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS out for a ride to see how much faster the 2016 Camaro SS model right now and here is what they found out. The Chevrolet Camaro SS model with the will be able to cover a quarter mile in between 12.21 seconds and 12.40 seconds depending on which transmission you have on. The Camaro SS will come with an eight-speed and six-speed transmission respectively.
The previous Chevrolet Camaro SS could cover a quarter mile half a second slower than the 2016 model, but that is it. Since it is lighter and more powerful now, we were expecting a larger gap but that wasn’t the case at all.
