Chevrolet has confirmed that they will be integrating the next-gen Camaro with the Cadillac ATS platform and the move comes with the aim of improving the Camaro’s performance.
In detail, the new architecture will drag the weight of the Camaro down through reducing its size. With a lighter weight, the Camaro will surely be better optimized for power while also being more fuel savvy at the same time.
Today, car junkies can finally catch a glimpse of the ATS-built Camaro in motion after spy shots of it got leaked online. There, they will notice that the Camaro is truly smaller than before and looks more promising than ever.
However, there is no way for us to discuss on the design details of the Camaro due to the thick camouflage that hides it. This will have to wait until Chevy fully unveils the Camaro later this year.
