It is no secret that Chevrolet is currently developing the next-gen Camaro and the car is due to arrive somewhere at the end of this year. The next-gen Camaro is going to be very different from the existing model and this is partly due to the new ATS platform that it is built on.
In detail, Chevrolet has already confirmed that they will be utilizing the architecture of the Cadillac ATS to develop the Camaro. As such, the next-gen Camaro is going to be smaller and lighter. In conjunction to this, the Camaro is expected to have a much better power output.
Today, fans of the Camaro badge can check out on how the ATS platform looks on the Camaro. This is possible after spy shots of the car running some tests got leaked online and it does confirm a smaller framework.
Unfortunately, we cannot discuss on the design features of the next-gen Camaro due to the thick camouflage but all is expected to get revealed when the car gets fully unveiled in months from now.
