BMW introduced the F30 3 Series sedan in 2012. It was a good car, but only several thought so. There were many issues that were brought up about the car. But now, the new BMW 3 Series can be calm once again. The interior is more appropriate, the suspension has reworked, and the steering programming revamped.
Furthermore, BMW is introducing a new turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six with more power. The new engine comes with a new out-of-thin-air bag, 340i, to replace the N55 six and 335i. the updated 3 Series sedan will continue to offer 320i with a turbo four. Both wagon and sedan keep the 328i with higher-power version of similar engine.
Furthermore, the new BMW 3 Series comes with the automatic rev-matching and the manual inherit function from the M3 and M4. It works well, but it’s on all the time, unless you change to Sport+. The Sport+ calibration can be too sensitive, so it is preferable that the system can be turned on and off at will independent drive mode.
