It has been a long while since Audi launched the A4 and the mid-sized sedan is in dire need for a refresh. Thankfully, Audi is aware of this and are looking to launch the next-generation A4 later this year at the annual Frankfurt Motor Show.
Today, car junkies can finally check out on how the next-gen A4 will be made to appear like after spy shots of the vehicle running some tests got leaked online. However, not much can be discussed on the A4’s design cues due to the camouflage wrappers.
On the other hand, we were able to notice that the A4 is bigger and bolder than before. This is probably because of the newly-developed MLB Evo platform it looks to ride on. The new architecture will simply allow the A4 to come with a longer wheelbase.
Of course, details are still scarce at the moment and it is best to wait until September to learn more on what the future A4 has got to offer. When Audi launches the car, we can expect the AVANT variant getting introduced as well.
