There is a huge buzz within the Volkswagen fanbase after spy shots of the upcoming VW Tiguan got leaked online. Those that have viewed the spy shots will agree when we say that the upcoming Tiguan is going to be larger than before.
This is evident on the spy shot as the upcoming vehicle appears to have a wider body and also wider wheel arches. With a wider framework, it is pretty obvious that the Tiguan will be looking to offer more shoulder room for the passengers.
On the downside of things, we can only discuss on the size of the vehicle. The Tiguan’s test mule is heavily wrapped in thick camouflage that there is no way to confirm on its design features.
Even so, fans can look forward to seeing the Tiguan exhibiting the MQB platform while also coming with three different engine options. They are believed to be the 1.6L TDI diesel, 1.4L TSI petrol and the 2L petrol engine. Of course, this will all be clarified when the Tiguan gets released later this year.
