2015 Volvo V60 Cross Country En Route To LA Auto Show!

It is official. Volvo has announced that the upcoming V60 Cross Country will be participating at the LA Auto Show. The highly anticipated car was previously spotted in a series of spy shots when the V60 was doing some tests in Spain and soon, we can get more details on it.

Also, Volvo took the opportunity to tease that the V60 Cross Country will be coming with a rugged styling like how it is on the smaller V40 CC. Staying true to its name, the V60 CC will be able to take on the off-road terrain easily thanks to the 65mm of increased ground clearance.

Aside from that, the V60 CC will be equipped with front & rear skid plates, fender extenders and side scuff plates while at the back there are integrated dual exhaust pipes. It will be offered with either 18” or 19” wheels, together with a wide variety of two-toned upholsteries.

Americans should be excited as it will be where the V60 CC will be released first before reaching to other parts of the world. The North American version of the car is revealed to run on the traditional five-cylinder 250 bhp (186 kW) gasoline engine working with an automatic transmission. The V60 CC is built on the AWD platform and it will also look to return 23mpg.

The European version, on the other hand, will be getting a new range of Drive-E four cylinder petrol and diesel engines that runs on the FWD system. Of course, Europeans will also get to enjoy the five-cylinder D4 that is built on the AWD system.
