When it comes to the truck with the best resale value, the Toyota Tacoma is right up there with the 4Runner but the competitors are not going to give up and in fact, some of them manage to slide in closer to the Tacoma.
According to the latest Kelly Blue Book rating, the Toyota Tacoma resale value is at 73% which is pretty amazing but unsurprising for the Toyota Tacoma. We were surprised to learn that newcomers like the Chevrolet Colorado and the GMC Canyon is expected to retain about 71% of their value after three years, but GM is not done.
The Toyota Tundra comes in next with 64% after three years and sneaking in behind the Tundra is the GMC Sierra by GM which is estimated to retain about 57%.
So while it looks like Toyota is still hanging in strong, the other trucks are catching up. How long will Toyota be able to keep their top spot?
