Come next year, a new Corolla will be launched and like its predecessor, the car is expected to be affordable, fuel efficient and more importantly, reliable. Information on the upcoming Corolla has been scarce ever since the Toyota unveiled the concept model earlier this year.
Then again, the Concept, together with the hints and teases from Toyota, is more than enough to give us a rough idea on what the Corolla has got to offer.
For starters, we can look forward to seeing the sedan running on a 1.8L 4-cylinder engine that is mated to a CVT transmission. This will generate about 135hp. Also, the upcoming Corolla will be styled with Toyota’s new design language. Aside from the frowning front bumper, the sedan will also have daytime running lights with LED bulbs. Furthermore, the care will be equipped low-beam headlamps.
Inside the cabin, the seating positions will surely be improved on. The interior design will be finished elegantly to offer a neater and more comforting experience for both the passengers and the driver.
All in all, the upcoming Toyota Corolla will surely extend the success of its predecessor. The vehicle will be looking to compete with the Mazda 3, Honda Civic and the Nissan Altima when it gets released.
