Come next year, Toyota will be launching the all-new Auris and it is expected to be totally different from its predecessors. This is due to the new design language that comes with the Auris.
Today, car junkies can already catch a glimpse on how the Auris will roughly look like after spy shots of it doing some test got shared on the internet. From the image, we noticed the Auris wouldn’t be any different from the existing model aside from its design.
In detail, the Auris is to come with more refined bumpers, more angular headlights and taillights, and also horizontal rear reflectors.
The Auris is said to come with multiple powertrain and engine options. They are revealed to be a 98 bhp 1.33-liter gasoline engine, a 130 bhp 1.6-liter Valvematic along with the 1.4 D-4D diesel rated at 89 bhp (66 kW) and 205 Nm (151 lb-ft) of torque.
There will also be a hybrid option coming and it is a 1.8-liter VVT-i gasoline engine with an electric motor to provide a combined output of 134 bhp (100 kW) and 142 Nm (105 lb-ft). It’s enough for a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in 10.9 seconds and a 112 mph (180 km/h) top speed.
