The Tesla Model S is a great EV car but it is also not cheap to own. Retailing at about $127,000, Model S buyers are hoping to get the best vehicle around and truly they did.
That was the perception of the Model S owners until they realized that they have been locked out of their own vehicle. The thing is that the Model S has retractable door handles which is a pretty cool feature but when it does not work, there is no way for the owners to get inside the car.
The door handles were supposed to surface whenever the owner is nearby but a tech failure has prevented it. Just when owners are beginning to regret the huge sum paid for the Tesla Model S, they got their money’s worth when the carmaker gave them doorstep service.
A mobile support team arrived at the scene in less than 24 hours to fix the issue and this is the sort of service every car owners wish they could enjoy. So yes, the $127,000 fee is a pain to get the Model S but this is forgivable since the support services is top class.
