If you are a fan of Subaru, then it is better for you to reside in the Asia Pacific region. This is because Subaru had just launched the XV Crosstrek STi and the Forester STi there. This is despite of the fact that both vehicles were developed at Nurnbergring in Germany.
Of course, sooner or later, the STi variants of the XV Crosstrek and the Forester will enjoy a global release but Subaru is still pending to share on when that will happen.
Regardless, the arrival of the XV Crosstrek STi and the Forester Sti reminded everyone on how great the sporty trim is. Both vehicles exhibit the best on-road performance and this is owed to the method of development utilized by Subaru.
The Japanese carmaker has already revealed that Nurnbergring was opted to facilitate the development of the aforementioned vehicles as it emulates real road condition and offers a platform for benchmark test.
This also explains why both STI vehicles came out with large 19” wheels and wider tyres. To complete the package, both the Crosstrek STi and the Forester STi are powered by a 2L turbo engine that develops 296hp and 295ft-lbs of torque.
