Both vehicles are totally different from each other except for the fact that they are built to perform. Also, it is always exciting to see how the $38,190 WRX STI compete with the luxury $70,160 Cayman.
On papers the WRX STI is powered by a 2.5L turbocharged F4 engine that is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. This allows it to generate 305hp and 290lb-fts of torque. Meanwhile, the Cayman runs on the 2.7L F6 engine that is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. This generates 275hp and 213lb-ft of torque.
