Subaru has already launched the all-new Forester as part of their 2015 MY-line up and it arrived with good safety ratings. This is why it was a big surprise when we learned that the new Subaru Outback offers better safety than the Forester.
It was confirmed after Subaru announced on the new Outback which comes with some tremendous safety upgrades that allowed it to achieve five star rating from NHTSA.
In detail, the Outback performs better on a front crash test than other Subaru vehicles on the company’s stable. The car achieved five stars alone in that segment. The Forester, on the other hand, only managed four stars.
Furthermore, the Outback has more safety instruments which arrived as a standard for the vehicle. The list includes a rearview camera, a new rollover sensor and a front seat airbags. The latter allows the driver and front passenger to stay in place in an event of a front crash.
