It wasn’t that long ago when Porsche announced on the Panamera MK2. Back then, the German carmaker revealed that they are aware of the disappointment with the Panamera’s design and promises to deliver a beautiful successor in the near future.
Obviously, this means that the Panamera MK2 will be getting some redesign. However, the changes to the styling won’t be drastic as Porsche wishes for the consumers to still be able to recognize the Sports SUV as the Panamera.
Of course, nobody has a clue on the sort of design coming with the Porsche. The latter did tease that the upcoming model will look like the 2012 Panamera Sport Turismo Concept. Then again, the concept will have to be visualized with a lift back instead of a bullet-style structure.
In addition to that, the Panamera Mk2 will be built on the new MSB platform which is tremendously lighter in weight. This will ensure that the new generation V6 and V8 mills will be able to perform much better than before while also returning impressive fuel consumption figures.
Then again, the details on the Porsche Panamera are still scarce at this moment. Regardless, the above information should be able to print a rough image of the upcoming Panamera in the fans’ head.
