Unfortunately, we now believe that the Macan is overrated and is not really the best vehicle to purchase. This is after one Macan owner found himself stuck in a small nearby desert when attempting to enjoy a thrilling off-roading experience.
The owner revealed that he engaged into 4WD mode as soon as he arrived at the desert area. Without wasting any time, the lad then starts climbing the sandy dunes but within minutes, the Macan found itself stuck with no way of getting out.
Thankfully though, there was a Dacia Duster in the area to pull the Macan out of its misery. This is embarrassing for the Macan since the Duster is an ultra-cheap car but with better off-roading skills.
The situation basically proves that the Macan is not exactly like it was reviewed to be. So if you are really into some off-roading fun, get yourself a Duster instead of splurging so much on the Macan.
