LPG, NGV, CNG or any other terms that described petroleum gas has always been utilized by many drivers to enjoy better MPG. Of course, the aforementioned drivers were required to mod their car and lose out on boot space if they wish to turn their vehicle into a hybrid.
Well, this is not for the all-new Opel Corsa. The German carmaker had just introduced a new trim of Corsa and it is the Corsa LPG. This means that the hatchback now run on liquid-petroleum gas, gasoline or both at the same time.
Opel claims that introducing LPG on the Corsa will improve fuel economy by a whopping 50%. Furthermore, the addition of LPG does not compromise the boot space since the gas tank is fitted around the spare tyre compartment.
The Opel Corsa LPG is now available for purchase and it retails at €14,745 in Germany for the three-door model and €15,495 for the five-door. Both variants come with the 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 90PS (89hp).
