Before this year ends, Nissan will be launching their next ‘Z’ vehicle and it will be the direct successor to the aging 370Z roadster. We personally prefer to call it Z as we can’t confirm on the digits that will feature on the future vehicle.
This is because Nissan has already made it known that the successor to the 370Z will be coming with a smaller engine capacity. The move was made with the aim to make the Z-series cheaper to own and run. Of course, Nissan also assured consumers that the engine downsizing will not sacrifice power.
Following that announcement, there is without a doubt that the Z will have a new set of numeric. For example, if it is to come with a 2.7L engine, then the car will be known as the 270Z. The numbers are determined by the engine capacity.
At the moment, nobody but Nissan knows on what sort of engine will be towing the future Z. However, we can expect more reveals from the Japanese carmaker prior to the Z’s debut later this year.
