It has been a quiet year for Nissan but next year, it is going to get loud. This is confirmed after Nissan revealed that they will be refreshing the 370Z with a brand new model. Things are going to get a lot more interesting when car junkies learned that the roadster will have smaller engine options.
For years now, the 370Z has been running on the 3.7L V6 engine. Not to say it is bad but consumers faces a hard time due to its high operating cost. Nissan has realized this fact and hence, decided to update the engine with something that can offer so much power but have better fuel economy.
Of course, nothing specific was shared by Nissan. All the Japanese carmaker did say was that the 370Z will get a smaller capacity motor. In conjunction to this, the name of the vehicle will also change based on the engine’s displacement size. The good news is that the ‘Z’ will remain intact.
The only major quote car junkies can take home from Nissan is that “the most important thing is what the engine can do, not its displacement”. With that being said, one can look forward to seeing the 370Z coming with a high-tech motor that is both powerful and efficient.
