Before this year ends, the world will be witnessing a brand new Z getting released by Nissan and we purposely avoided calling it the next-gen 370Z since the roadster is going to come with a different name.
This was confirmed by Nissan, when they announced last week that the future Z will be coming with a smaller engine capacity to make it cheaper to run. Even so, Nissan assured Z-fans that the new engine will still be as powerful as before.
With the new engine capacity, there is no doubt that the future Z will be coming with a different set of numbers. For example, the old 350Z is powered by a 3.5L engine while the 370Z is powered by a 3.7L engine. If the future Z is to run on a 2.7L motor, then it will hence be known as the 270Z.
The important thing here is for the Z to remain intact. With it, people will be able to identify the upcoming car as part of th Z family from Nissan.
