Mitsubishi has been showing signs of growth in recent years and this is owed to their new business strategy as well as the Mirage. The latter, in particular, has been selling very well ever since it made its debut a couple of years ago.
This is because the Mirage offers decent power, reliability and practicality at its best. The Mirage made up 74% of Mitsubishi sales for last year and this proves that it is one of the best hatchbacks in the market today.
Mitsubishi’s VP, Don Swearingen, revealed that the company has decided to opt for an honest approach when marketing the Mirage. The Mirage is built to be a true affordable city car and it is promoted based on this.
As for the company’s business strategy, Don shared that the reason for the strong end to 2014 is due to limiting the percentage of their sales fleet. Mitsubishi has a goal to keep fleet percentage at under 10% to ensure that losses, if any, can be coped and curbed.
