The latest Mazda CX-3 is no ordinary compact crossover. This is because the car came out with the right balance in power and efficiency that makes it special, if not, better than the entire competition.
Perhaps, this is why the CX-3 cost a bomb when compared to its rivals. For a better understanding on this, we have decided to hop inside the crossover and see if it is worth its valuation. We tested out the 1.5L 4-cylinder diesel powered CX-3 and here is what we found out.
The first thing we learned is that Mazda wasn’t joking when they claim that the CX-3 is the most balanced crossover around. The 105hp on papers translated well on the roads, particularly city roads. The Mazda 3 performed exquisitely well in bad traffic conditions as it ensures things are kept smooth and comfortable.
Accelerating from 0-62mph saw us clocking 10.1 seconds. This is exactly like how it is stated in the brochures. The best part is that the CX-3 is extremely economically as it returned about 69mpg throughout our test.
Costing at about $29,000, the car is simple worth every cent. Many wondered on when carmakers are going to produce long lasting vehicles like how it was in the 90s. The answer is already here and it is known as the Mazda CX-3.
