Earlier this year, Mazda launched the all-new Mazda 6 and it is regarded as the best saloon it its segment. Next year however, Mazda will be giving the existing model a facelift, which left us wondering on how much better can the Mazda 6 look?
Today, our curiosity was answered after an image believed to be the upcoming Mazda 6 was spotted doing the rounds online. While it may not be something official, the image was taken from the Atenza, which is a car only available in Japan.
The Atenza and the Mazda 6 can be said to be twin vehicles. Despite being touted as a facelift, the image expresses a design that look a lot like the original Mazda 6. The changes are subtle and they consist of a more prominent grille and the headlights have different design inside. The outer portion of the latter remains the same however.
On another note, the cowl has been removed, thus, causing the screen to sit on top of the dash. Speaking of which, the dashboard is now more angular and the steering wheel is also changed for something different.
