It wasn’t that long ago when Jeep launched the finely-tuned Wrangler, called the Sahara. Soon, another variant of the Wrangler is going to get created and it will be called the Freedom Edition.
Even so, the Wrangler Freedom isn’t that different when compared to the Sahara as it boasts many similar characteristics. This includes the price of the Freedom Edition, which is about $23,390.
The Freedom Edition Wrangler is powered by 3.6L V6 engine that is paired to a 5-speed automatic transmission. This develops 285hp and 260ft-lbs of torque, while also returning 17mpg on the city, 21mpg on the highway and 18mpg in combined cycle.
The special thing about the Freedom Edition Wrangler is its design that is uniquely different to the other Wranglers. The 4×4 wears a blue paint job and it sports Oscar Mike symbols all around the vehicle.
Aside from that, the Freedom Edition Wrangler has P255/75 R17 OWL on/off road tires, power convenience group, heated mirrors, power windows and many more.
Even with a different styling, the Freedom Edition Wrangler performs just like every other Wrangler in the market. It is simply sluggish when on the roads but a beautiful monster when off it.
