After months of anticipation, Jaguar has finally launched the all-new F-type. It has been a long while since a Jaguar actually looks great and the F-Type is clearly that game change everyone has been waiting for.
Jaguar revealed that there are two F-type to choose from and they are either the 4WD-driven coupe or the 2-passenger, 2-door convertible. Also, prices for the F-Type start at $65,000 and it is capped at $102,000.
As for the engines, consumers will be able to choose from the supercharged and intercooled DOHC 24-valve 3L engine or the intercooled DOHC 32-valve 5.0L V8. There are two separate tunings for the former and they produce 340hp and 332ft-lbs of torque as well as 380hp with 339ft-lbs of torque. Meanwhile, the V8 motor has 550hp and 502lb-fts of torque to offer.
The powers are transmitted through either the 6-speed manual transmission or the 8-speed AMT gearbox depending on the buyer’s preferences.
With that being said, it is obvious that the all-new Jaguar F-Type is both sleek and powerful at the same time. Of course, owning one will require a big pay cheque.
