Hyundai unveiled the all-new Accent Facelift yesterday and it is confirmed to be a small-time upgrade from the previous model. The Accent facelift sports a new radiator grille, headlights and taillights and 16-inch alloy and 14-inch steel wheels.
In detail, the hatchback will be offered with three colour options- Vitamin C, Pacific Blue and Misty Beige. The interior differs based on the themes and changes are mostly with the fabric patterns. Also, there is now a new LCD panel which is clearer and offers sharper images.
Under the hood, the Accent is powered by a 1.6-liter aluminum Gamma four-cylinder engine that produces 138 bhp (103 kW) and 123 lb-ft (166 Nm) of torque. Fuel economy is still EPA-rated at 27 mpg city and 38 mpg highway.
Price-wise, the GLS that runs on a 6-speed manual gearbox retails at $14,745. If taken with the automatic transmission, the car will sell at $15,745. As for the top-of-the-range Accent Sport that comes complete with a roof spoiler, it will cost consumers $17,305. Of course this is with the manual transmission. With automatics, the Accent Sport will cost $18,305.
Optionally, consumers can purchase the Popular Equipment Package which $600. This will see the Accent coming with steering wheel audio controls, a cruise control, Bluetooth hands-free phone and an adjustable steering wheel to the equipment.
