Honda has already launched the latest Jazz and soon, this little hatchback is going to make an entry in the Indian market. However, the vehicle that is bound for India won’t be anything like the model launched in Europe.
In case you are unaware, Honda has revealed that India’s version of the Jazz will be offered with two different engine options. There is the 1.2L petrol engine and the 1.5L diesel engine. The latter, in particular, will look to produce about 100PS and 200Nm of torque.
The special thing about the Jazz for India is that the car will also be coming with a CVT gearbox to pair with the engine. Honda shared that the CVT transmission is taken from the City but will be offered as an option aside from the 5-speed automatic transmission.
For Indian consumers, they will be pleased to know that the upcoming Jazz will be much cheaper than its predecessor. This is because Honda is producing the hatchback in the country itself and it is expected to be priced at about INR5-7 Lakhs.
