Both the Jeep Renegade and the latest Honda HR-V are two great compact SUV that have made their debut very recently. Today, we are going to see which of the two is the better purchase?
Looking at the Jeep Renegade, the 4-door compact SUV is powered by a 1.4L 4-cylinder turbocharged engine that is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. This is slightly smaller in capacity when compared to the Honda HR-V that draws its power from a 1.5L 4-cylinder engine that is mated to CVT transmission.
The Renegade, as we know it, is no ordinary compact SUV. The vehicle comes with Jeep’s off-road technology which is unrivalled by any other off-road manufacturers.
The HR-V, on the other hand, takes pride with the 170hp and 106ft-lbs of torque it generates. The vehicle also comes with adjustable driver seat headrest which is height adjustable and has 6 manual adjustments. Comfort is definitely not neglected on the Honda HR-V.
Furthermore, the Japanese SUV is completed with air filtration, front air conditioning, audio controls on the steering wheel along with cruise control, phone control and it has steering wheel adjustments that are tilt and telescopic.
While we might agree that the Renegade looks good, the better purchase is still with the HR-V due to its better value, reliability and affordability.
