Both the Honda HR-V and the Jeep Renegade are two of the most popular compact SUVs in the market right now but little do the masses know that they both are built with completely different set of things to offer.
Looking at the Honda HR-V, the vehicle is equipped with a 1.5L 4-cylinder engine that is mated to a CVT transmission. This develops about 170hp and 106ft-lbs of torque. This basically sums up a fuel savvy compact SUV that is both reliable and practical for everyday use. However, the Honda HR-V is limited to the tarmacs since it does not offer 4WD technology.
This is something which the Jeep Renegade excels at. The compact SUV from Jeep has 4WD technology and this allows its 1.4L turbocharged engine to drive up a mountain and muddy trails with ease. Unfortunately, the Renegade is not environmental friendly.
