Both the latest Honda HR-V and Jeep Renegade have so much in common that it can be difficult to tell them apart. This is not surprising since the HR-V and Renegade are both from the compact SUV segment. The only difference between the two is with the performance.
Looking at the HR-V, the vehicle is powered by a 1.5L 4-cylinder engine that is paired to a CVT transmission. On the tarmacs, the HR-V offers a smooth performance with decent handling. It is also very economical as the powertrain returns great fuel mileage.
As for the Jeep Renegade, it offers a totally different driving experience. The 1.4L turbocharged-4 and 6-speed automatic it runs on is not quite the performer. Heck, the engine also fails to return decent fuel economy.
However, the Jeep Renegade does come with the 4WD system. When the system is engaged, the vehicle turns into the beast as it can take on the unforgiving off-road terrain with ease. This is the special thing about the Renegade.
