About a couple of months ago, Jeep launched their first ever compact SUV and it is known as the Renegade. Developed with the Italian passion, the Renegade simply looks gorgeous but it is unfortunate that its performance is only decent at best.
In detail, the Renegade 1.4L turbocharged engine that is mated to 6-speed automatic transmission offers a pretty average performance when on the tar mat. However, if drivers are to engage in 4WD mode, the Renegade automatically turns into a beast and it will be able to drive across any terrain.
Then again, not everyone appreciate the art of off-roading and It is causing the Renegade to lose out on sales. Apparently, most consumers would rather opt for the latest Honda HR-V.
The Japanese compact SUV appears to be more reliable, affordable and practical in every way. The latest HR-V is powered by a 1.5L 4-cylinder engine that is mated to a CVT transmission. This makes the HR-V fuel efficient and also more fitting for everyday use.
