Little do the masses know that another Civic is nearing its debut, aside from the much-talked about Honda Civic Type R. Known as the Honda Civic Tourer, the stretched-hatchback was spotted doing some road test over at the UK.
The spy shots of the Civic Tourer have already been uploaded on the internet and you can view them here. At a glance, the front part of the car looks heavily inspired by the Civic Type R concept seen at this year’s Geneva Motor Show.
On the downside of things, Honda wrapped the Civic Tourer in thick camouflage which made it hard to tell on the new styling teased through the shape of the vehicle. Even the grille is well-covered, giving us little idea on the sort of changes from the Type-R study.
Over at the rear, we can tell that the lower bumpers are taller and thicker and the taillights are now thicker to cater the large conventional bulb. Of course, there will be the LED variant coming in the future as well.
The spy shots might not reveal much but it is helpful in giving us a rough idea on the Honda Civic Tourer. We can expect the vehicle to make its debut next year, after the coming of the Honda Civic Type R.
