The 2015 Ford Focus ST is doing nothing more than being overhyped and overrated. The four-wheel-drive Ford Focus ST does not really do much, and the last thing this car needs is more power. It does nothing special and is not any better than other sport compacts from the last decade.
Ford Focus ST come with a turbo 2.0L I4 engine and 275 HP power, and 6-speed manual transmission. There is torgue-biasing differential, short-throw shifter, front strut tower brace, a special cat-back exhaust system, and lowering springs – all for more than $3, 000. However, the lowering springs do not make a good deal as they regularly throw off overall proportions and ruin the ride.
Furthermore, the Ford Focus ST feels flatter in corners during driving, but it only makes a slight difference and noticeable if drivers are pushing really hard. With the price of $36, 992, the Ford Focus ST is said to cost more than what it offers.
So, even though the Ford Focus ST may be a good car, people are not planning to get one. There are room for improvements than can be made by Ford to attract its customers and gain back their interest towards the car.
